At Michiana Speech Therapy LLC, a certified speech-language pathologist and orofacial myofunctional therapist is dedicated to enhancing oral function for improved speech production, intelligibility, feeding skills, and overall orofacial development for optimal health.

Maggie Cressy, MA, CCC-SLP, COM®

Maggie is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and IAOM Board Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) with an unyielding passion for transforming lives through communication, feeding and mealtime success, and orofacial myofunctional therapy.

After graduating from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in special education and from Indiana University with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Maggie has gained experience in various realms of practice, including schools, private practice, hospital outpatient clinics, early intervention, and even the delicate realm of infant feeding in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Being a Michiana native and an integral part of the Michiana community, Maggie takes pride in serving her local area and making a positive difference in the lives of those she encounters. With her warm and compassionate approach, Maggie is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to her clients. She believes in tailoring therapy to each individual's unique needs, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Maggie finds joy in an active and nature-filled lifestyle. She enjoys activities such as biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, golfing, playing tennis, playing volleyball, spending time with her family and friends, and taking her dog, Beanie, on walks along the river.
